Presentation transcript:

One-Pager Instructions The One-Pager is a way of responding to a piece of writing or information on a single sheet of paper. It represents your own written and graphic interpretation of what you have learned. It may be very literal (just based on the facts or information in the piece) or it may be a symbolic representation of the piece. It helps you as a reader to visualize and deeper understand what you are reading.

Directions: 1. Needs to be on UNLINED white paper 2. Must fill the entire page 3. Writing must be in ink or marker-no pencil(unless using colored pencil) 4. Must have a title 5. Your name, period and date will go on the back 6. Must fill the page attractively 7. Use colored pens, pencils or markers unless the piece demands black and white

The following required elements may be arranged on the page in any way you choose: 1. Must have four or more excerpts from the reading. (passages that you like or think are important) 2. Must have at least 2 graphic representations: drawing, magazine picture, or computer graphic that ties to the notes you read and the quotes you chose. 3. You must have a 10 sentence response that explains the process of the development of political parties in the U.S. 4. Must use 10 of the vocabulary words in a way that expresses their meaning and ties to the content of the information.
