As soon as you enter class, look over the vocabulary words from yesterday.
Be ready to discuss the rest of the words
Draw pictures to illustrate each word. Pictures should be colored with colored pencils.

Objectives: G2.1- Students will be able to create their own maps, charts and or graphs to explain preexisting data.
Essential Question: How do you use specific terminology to describe geographical features of a country?
MAP KEY
When you enter, pick up a “Map Key” worksheet. Glue it in your notebook on page R7. Create, identify and color 5 new map symbols. Do this below the Essential Questions on page R7.

14. Create a Continent Here are the rules:
Use an 8 ½ X 11 sheet of white paper and colored pencils to draw your continent.
Include at least 15 geography terms from our list of terms (3 points each).
Include a compass labeled with North, South, East and West (5 Points)
Creativity/Effort (50 points)
Due at the end of class on Friday for a quiz grade.
