GCSE Catering (WJEC) Single award GCSE (1 option choice) 1 Written Exam (40%) 2 Controlled Assessment Tasks (60%) - each task includes a 3-hour Practical (cooking) Exam An opportunity to achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Food Hygiene and Safety (City and Guilds)

IVQ Level 1/2 Award in Hospitality and Catering (Equivalent to 1 GCSE) This is a brand-new course offering which will be delivered in the new Technology block. All work is folio-based (No written exam), but you will be given an opportunity to achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Food Hygiene and Safety (City and Guilds) There are many jobs related to the hospitality industry, including: Trainee Chef Hotel Receptionist Events Manager Barista Customer Service Representative
