The Baptism of Jesus Who was the Gospel writer Mark?

The Baptism of Jesus When Catholics are Baptised, it is in a Church, over a Baptismal Font.

The Baptism of Jesus Where is Israel on the world map? Jesus was Baptised in a river! I wonder why? The Jordan River

The Baptism of Jesus It is important to know that youth was not valued in first century Palestine. That is why this Scripture is the first piece in Mark to include Jesus- His birth was not even included! John the Baptist lets us know that Jesus is special by saying he will baptise Jesus with water. However Jesus will baptise others with the Holy Spirit. This links with a prophecy from the Old Testament in Isaiah 40:3, which refers to the announcement of the coming saviour.
