Take a look at your manual located in the dash of the car. It will provide step by step details on how to change the tire.

After reading the manual you should now get the spare tire from the vehicle, the jack and the necessary tools.

Set up the tires and tools close to the flat tire. Take the lug wrench and pre- loosen the lug nuts while the car is still on the ground.

Reference the owners manual to find the location to put the jack for this tire. Slowly raise the car until the tire is off of the ground about 2”.

Using the lug nut wrench, remove the lug nuts from the vehicle. Place them in a secure location so you will not lose them. Remove the flat tire from the vehicle.

To install the spare tire you must line up the studs with the holes in the rim of the tire. Slide the spare into place and then reinstall the lug nuts. Tighten the lug nuts as much as you can while the car is in the air.

Slowly lower the jack to place the car back on the ground.

You must check the lug nuts to make sure they are very tight. This will ensure that the tire will not fall off car.
