Personal Shannon’s husband was transferred in 2012 to an economically challenged area where Shannon found it difficult to find gainful employment. Soon after, her mother was diagnosed with cancer and she spent the next two years taking care of her. Her Mom is now cancer free and Shannon decided it was time to go back to work and began her own freelance career.
