Matthew 5:10-12 Two reasons we should accept persecution with joy
I. Persecution causes us to look forward to our rich rewards (10-12a).
“On earth as it is in heaven” (6:9) God blesses us when we are persecuted for doing right because our suffering shows we are members of God’s family
