8 What is Drug Court?  Started in Dade County, FL 1989  Started in Augusta, GA 2008  Augusta Judicial Circuit Drug Court (AJCDC)  To reduce the impact of drug related crime by providing comprehensive treatment to substance abusers with the goal of improving public safety and decreasing the financial burden of drug addiction to the entire community.
