FIFO IDIS has always committed funds (funded activities) and disbursed funds FIFO. – Oldest funds were committed first by fund type and recipient. – Oldest funds were disbursed first by fund type and recipient. – These two processes occurred separately. IDIS will continue to operate FIFO for all grants received through the 2014 grant. 3

Grant Specific For 2015 and all future grants, IDIS will no longer function FIFO. IDIS will function on a grant-specific basis. Grantee must fund an activity with funds from a specific grant. The specific funds that were committed to the activity must be disbursed for the activity. 4
