Introduction Anugrah Narayan College was established in 1956 and became as a constituent unit of Magadh University in 1976. Recognized under the 2(f) and 12(b)by the UGC. A multi-faculty, coeducational and a pioneering institution of General and Professional /Vocational education in the State. Accredited with NAAC Grade “A” in 2005 and reaccredited Grade “A” in 2012 CPE status in 2004(Xth Plan) and extended in 2011 (XIth Plan) by UGC . Examination – Semester & Credit System New Academic Session starts on 1st July The post Graduate Courses are of 4 semester, each semester of 6 months duration The entire course is of 80 credits,each credit is of 15 hours of teaching per week Each course has semester end examination of 75 % marks in each paper per semester through external evaluation and 25 % marks through internal evaluation The final result contain marks with grade point in 10 Grade point(G) is an integer indicating the numerical equivalent of the broad level of performance of a student in a course Credit point (P) of a course is the value obtained by multiplying the grade point to earned credits of the course [P=GXCr] Grade point Average (GPA) is the product of total grade points earned and credit hours for each course divided by total credit hours
