Introduction  First Surah of the Qur’an  So important that we are commanded to recite in every Raka’ah of every Salah  Almost 25 to 30 times a day

Words of Fatihah: 7500 times in the Qur’an!!! يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنْ تُطِيعُوا فَرِيقاً مِنْ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ يَرُدُّوكُمْ بَعْدَ إِيمَانِكُمْ كَافِرِينَ (100) وَكَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ وَأَنْتُمْ تُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتُ اللَّهِ وَفِيكُمْ رَسُولُهُ وَمَنْ يَعْتَصِمْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ هُدِيَ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ (101) يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلاَّ وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ (102) وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعاً وَلا تَفَرَّقُوا وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنْتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُمْ بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَاناً وَكُنْتُمْ عَلَى شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِنْ النَّارِ فَأَنْقَذَكُمْ مِنْهَا كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ (103) وَلْتَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنْ الْمُنْكَرِ وَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمْ الْمُفْلِحُونَ (104) وَلا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ تَفَرَّقُوا وَاخْتَلَفُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمْ الْبَيِّنَاتُ وَأُوْلَئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ (105) يَوْمَ تَبْيَضُّ وُجُوهٌ وَتَسْوَدُّ وُجُوهٌ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ اسْوَدَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ أَكَفَرْتُمْ بَعْدَ إِيمَانِكُمْ فَذُوقُوا الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ (106) وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ ابْيَضَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ فَفِي رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ (107) تِلْكَ آيَاتُ اللَّهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَمَا اللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ظُلْماً لِلْعالَمِينَ (108) وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ الأُمُورُ (109)

Before we start reciting…  We should recite تعوُّذ, i.e., أَعُوذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيم

تَعَوُّذ أَعُوذُبِاﷲمِنَالشَّيْطَانِالرَّجِيمِ I seek refuge In Allah fromSatan, the outcast.

أَعُوذُبِاﷲمِنَالشَّيْطَانِالرَّجِيمِ I take refuge in Allah fromSatan, the outcast. ع و ذع و ذ أَعُوذُ I take refuge ‘safety first’; ‘buckle up’; Get protection

أَعُوذُبِاﷲمِنَالشَّيْطَانِالرَّجِيمِ I take refuge in Allah fromSatan, the outcast. ع و ذع و ذ بِ اﷲ Allah in

أَعُوذُبِاﷲمِنَالشَّيْطَانِالرَّجِيمِ I take refuge in Allah fromSatan, the outcast. ع و ذع و ذ اﷲ Allah’s name (The rest are attributes)

أَعُوذُبِاﷲِمِنَالشَّيْطَانِالرَّجِيمِ I seek refuge In Allah fromSatan, the outcast. More than 3000 times (basic meaning is : from)

أَعُوذُبِاﷲِمِنَالشَّيْطَانِالرَّجِيمِ I seek refuge In Allah fromSatan, the outcast. ش ط نش ط ن شَيطان شَيَاطِين 88 times

أَعُوذُبِاﷲِمِنَالشَّيْطَانِالرَّجِيمِ I seek refuge In Allah fromSatan, the outcast. ر ج م ر ج م Stoning to death رَجَمْ

أَعُوذُبِاﷲِمِنَالشَّيْطَانِالرَّجِيمِ I seek refuge In Allah fromSatan, the outcast. ر ج م ر ج م Do you think Shaitaan is close to Allah? Never. He is outcast; rejected; t hrown away from Allah’s mercy.

أَعُوذُبِاﷲِمِنَالشَّيْطَانِالرَّجِيمِ I seek refuge In Allah fromSatan, the outcast. Message from:  Feel happy; have hope as well as fear when Allah is mentioned  Feel the closeness of Allah and the presence of Shaitaan. (and 2 angels also)  Why rajeem is mentioned?? So we always keep it alive in our mind

Remember the Hadith in every Raka’ah while reciting Al-Fatihah  :Hadith  حمدني عبدي …  اثنی عليّ عبدي…  مجّدني عبدي… Half, Half My slave praised me M y slave honor me My slave declared my supreme

سُورَةُ الْفَاتِحَة بِسْمِاﷲِالرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (1) In the name (of) Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

بِسْمِاﷲِالرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (1) In the name (of) Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. اِسْم اَسْمَاء اسماء الحسنى Allah ’ s best names

 Our Creator’s Name is ALLAH.  Other names such as Raheem, Rabb are attributes بِسْمِاﷲِالرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (1) In the name (of) Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

بِسْمِاﷲِالرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (1) In the name (of) Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. ر ح م extremely thirsty عطشان extremely angry غضبان extremely hungry جوعان

بِسْمِاﷲِالرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (1) In the name (of) Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. ر ح م Intensely Merciful

These are ‘continuous’ attributes بِسْمِاﷲِالرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (1) In the name (of) Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. ر ح م beautiful جميل good mannered كريم

بِسْمِاﷲِالرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (1) In the name (of) Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. ر ح م Continually Merciful

بِسْمِاﷲِالرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (1) In the name (of) Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Multiply the intensity with continuity!

بِسْمِاﷲِالرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (1) In the name (of) Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Message from:  Imagine the favors on you;  Feel the mercy of Allah  Feel the confidence and hope when you say it at the start of any thing

Esp. with Imagination & feelings; Prayer & Evaluation Practice بِسْمِاﷲِالرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (1) In the name (of) Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

سُورَةُ الْفَاتِحَة أَلْحَمْدُ ِﷲِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (2) (All) the praises and thanks (be) to Allah, the Lord (of) the worlds.

أَلْحَمْدُ ِﷲِ رَ بِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (2) (All) the praises and thanks (be) to Allah, the Lord (of) the worlds. ح م د 1. All Praises 2. Thanks

أَلْحَمْدُ ِﷲِ رَ بِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (2) (All) the praises and thanks (be) to Allah, the Lord (of) the worlds. لِ + اﷲ Allahfor

أَلْحَمْدُ ِﷲِ رَ بِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (2) (All) the praises and thanks (be) to Allah, the Lord (of) the worlds. ر ب ب Takes care of us & helps us grow … Every cell of billions of cells…

أَلْحَمْدُ ِﷲِ رَ بِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (2) (All) the praises and thanks (be) to Allah, the Lord (of) the worlds. ع ل م عَالَم world عَالَمِين worlds Imagine billions of people; trillions of insects; zillions of galaxies

أَلْحَمْدُ ِﷲِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (2) (All) the praises and thanks (be) to Allah, the Lord (of) the worlds. Message from:  Bring into mind the favors  Mean something; that He gave the chance to pray to Him  Imagine His Greatness

مَالِكِيَوْمِالدِّينِ ( 4) Master(of) the day(of) Judgment. سُورَةُ الْفَاتِحَة

مَالِكِيَوْمِالدِّينِ ( 4) Master(of) the day(of) Judgment. م ل ك Master مَالِكِ

مَالِكِيَوْمِالدِّينِ ( 4) Master(of) the day(of) Judgment. ي و م يَوْمُ الْعِيد Day of Eid

مَالِكِيَوْمِالدِّينِ ( 4) Master(of) the day(of) Judgment. د ي ن 1. System of life 2. Judgment

مَالِكِيَوْمِالدِّينِ ( 4) Master(of) the day(of) Judgment. Message from:  One of the most important days of our life…  Excitement + fear  Of everything … but that day no one will have anything to claim… no one can intercede except with His permission. IMAGINE THAT DAY…

مَالِكِيَوْمِالدِّينِ ( 4) Master(of) the day(of) Judgment. Message from:  He made us Muslims without our asking… out of His mercy.  Now we ask that He grants us Jannah (Hope)  Our Sins should make us afraid… & push us to change
