Canada is the second largest country in the world. The population of Canada is about 33 milion; 5.5 milion are immigrants. The largest city is Toronto, but the capital is Ottawa. Canada today is a constitutional monarchy with Elizabeth II as head of state and holds democracy.

 Canada is located in North America. It's  surrounded by North Pacific Ocean, North  Atlantic Ocean and North Arctic Ocean.  Canada bordered with United Stated Of  America, Alaska and Grenland. Location

The capital and the largest city Ottawa is the capital of Canada and it’s located on the banks of the river Ottawa. In Ottawa lives about people. English is the native language for 62.6%, 14.9% for French residents of the city (accorcing to data from 2006). The city is officially bilingual. Toronto is the lagest city of Canada, with over people (2011). Toronto name comes from the Indians and means meeting place. Accocing to the authorities in Toronto, it’s the greenest metropolis in the world. Nearly 1/5 of the city is covered by greenery, far from the average of the continent – 1/20 (5%).
