HOW TO ACE YOUR INTERVIEW Andrea Miller Employment Consultant

THE EARLY BIRD GETS THE WORM Arrive 5-10 minutes early for interview Plan your transportation NEVER be late! Make your first impression a good one!

DRESS FOR SUCCESS Review … Clothes should be clean and wrinkle free Perfume and cologne should be minimal Make-up: Less is MORE! Shoes should be clean

ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING Your attitude decides whether you “make the cut” Negativity = NO JOB! Think positive thoughts Portray a friendly attitude; shake hands, make eye contact, sit up straight, etc. SMILE

BE PREPARED Don’t find yourself up a creek without a paddle!! Be familiar with the company; visit their web site, ask your friends, find out what they do

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT Mock Interview Think of questions you want to ask ahead of time Review, review, review!!!!!!
