The Mission of Scouting The World Organization of the Scout Movement To contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise Scout Law, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society. Friends of Scouting $24 registration fee goes directly to National FOS is our annual fundraising campaign to support our council, Longs Peak Council.

Friends of Scouting A Great Investment It costs $202 to support one youth in Scouts. The families of the Longs Peak Council's Scouts come from many different backgrounds. But they all share one goal in common the development of competence, integrity and leadership in our youth. Please sponsor one Scout, or choose a level of giving that is best for your family. FOS Special Incentive: $202 donations receive a beautiful BSA coin with Longs Peak Council on one side and scouting founding father Daniel Beard on the reverse.

2015 Scout Share Goal $77 by Units lowest registered Scouts in 2014 Example: 50 youth X $77 = $3,850 goal Packs-Achieve goal and receive 10% off day camp fees and/or $5 off per boy, per night for the *2015 Nicol Cub Scout Summer sessions Rank advancement patches and parent pins (Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos, Arrow of Light) and arrow points. The Oval shaped Webelos badge and Webelos pins not Included. Troops/Teams/Crews-Achieve goal and receive $25 off per person at *Camp Jeffrey/Camp Laramie Peak/Soaring Eagle. $50 per person discount at Elkhorn High Adventure Base. Rank advancement patches (Scout through Life) and merit badge patches Crews-bronze award medal and either the bar ribbon or pin device. * Goal must be achieved by April 1, 2015 to receive discount at camp properties. All recognition are effective from when the unit goal is achieved until December 31 2015.
