In the city of Dublin 1916 Researched by Jordan Herbert

 During Easter week of 1916 in Dublin, Ireland  Organized by the Irish Republican Brotherhood ◦ a secret oath-bound fraternal organization dedicated to the establishment of an "independent democratic republic" in Ireland during the mid-19th and early 20th centuries.

 Thomas J. Clarke James Connolly He was the first to sign the Easter Proclamation. He was executed for his role in the Easter Rising. He was the leader of the Irish Citizen Army. He was executed for his role in the Easter Rising.

 “The greatest of the Easter Week Leaders”

 Meeting held on September 5, 1914, the day after Britain declared war on Germany, where they decided to stage a rising before the war ended, and to accept whatever help Germany might offer.

 Four different battalions were sent to secure positions throughout the city  Reinforcements were sent in from England
