T Excel Teaches basic skills Removes math anxiety Make graphing fun Reflective: –Why would I want to analyze how many people have red M&M’s? –Why might student X have more M&M’s in their cup than student Y?

T Basic skills (1) Computer support plan: –As students to be reflective and accountable. What happens if your computer doesn't work? How will you complete your assignments? _________ When online what do I do if… –I encounter a questionable website? –I don’t feel safe online? –I’m being teased and pick on?

Summarize what you have leaned In your What did you learn about the Internet searching in this way? Give evidence to support how the new way learned to search is different the way you’ve searched before. Where were your searching speedbumps before this assignment?

T Internet skills (3) Students create scavenger hunt questions Display answers in a “timeline” Ideas: nline_scavenger_hunts.htm nline_scavenger_hunts.htm

T Now what? What have you learned? What can you use in your classroom next week?
