 Computers and the internet will be an integrate part of our life  Current studies show that students are surrounded by technology and media 6.5 hours a day

 Learning through mobile device: palms, mp3 payers and cell phones  Other characteristics include the use of devices that: › Citizens are use to carry with them everywhere › They are friendly and personal devices › Cheap and easy to use › And they use it in all walks of life and in a variety of different settings and environments  Difference between distance education and m-learning › require face to face interaction with professor › enhance the learning of students within institutional boundaries

 Future mobile devices will have multiple screens: social network, homework, tv, and internet  With such technology and information at students finger tip, educations will revolve around teaching critical thinking and concepts rather than memorizations.

 Depends heavily on portable device  Has lot of features › , calendar, photos, music and internet  Most important feature is its simple and intuitive touch screen technology and interface  As mobile technology advances, we’ll see more use of it in the education system
