What is a Blog / Podcast Blog Podcast A blog is an online journal. Blog is short for "Web Log". It is a specialized site that allows an individual or group of individuals to share a running log of events, knowledge and personal insight with an online audience. A podcast is simply a video or audio blog.

Today's Goal ITS Start Using Podcasts ITS Start Creating Podcasts ITS Go Back and Encourage Teachers to Subscribe to Podcasts

ITS Start Using Podcasts In order for you to encourage your teachers to use podcasts you must first use podcasts. I would recommend (if you are new to podcasting) finding podcasts about podcasting in the classroom. Such as: The list is endless. If you already subscribe, way to go!

ITS Start Creating Podcasts Before teachers start creating content they need to see what good content is. Who better to create great content than the master teachers themselves, YOU!

ITS Go Back and Encourage Teachers to Subscribe to Podcasts Debby has placed several podcasts of interest on the RoundRock ITS Wiki page. Reference that list and encourage your teachers to subscribe. They need to hear good podcasting. The key is, help them find something that is relative to them. RoundRock ITS Wiki page
