Strategic plan AdeKUS MISSION: KNOWLEDGE CREATING AND KNOWLEDGE SHARING IN SUSTAINABLE PARTNERSHIP VISION: ADEKUS IS A PRESTIGIOUS INSTITUTION IN SURINAME AND THE REGION RESPONSIBLE FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT THROUGH HIGHLY QUALIFIED SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, EDUCATION AND SERVICE TO SOCIETY STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES: 1.Quality and accreditation: Within the next 3 years all programmes are accredited by NOVA 2.Transformation towards a professional, efficient and result driven organisation: After 2 years the level of professionalism is substantially improved, a result driven organisation is introduced and a culture of efficiency is established. 3.Increase in financial independence: The first money flow (subsidies from the government) fits better with the needs of the university and is also used to increase the second and third money flows in order to strengthen the financial base of the university.
