Week 4 Monday What? —What happened today? I completed all the tasks in the set time. I watched the Kurt Fearnley video and developed a learning Journal. —What did you achieve? I completed all tasks and set goals for the weeks ahead so I can complete the tasks to the best of my abilities. So What? —Did you learn a new skill or develop some new understanding? I didn’t learn a new skill or understanding. —How is your experience different from what you expected? I didn’t know what to expect because it is new this year. —What did you like/dislike about the experience? I liked the Kokoda video because it was interesting and showed us that he had goals. —What did you learn about the people you’re working with? I didn’t really learn anything new about anyone. Now What —What learning occurred for you in this experience? I learnt about Kurt Fearnly crawling the Kokoda Track but i already new about setting goals. —How can you apply this learning? I can set goals in the future so I can Complete tasks. —What would you like to learn more about, related to this project or issue? Not much at this stage.

I learnt how to make a Google docs account and what a Lotus diagram is. —How is your experience different from what you expected? I didn’t know what to expect because it is new this year. —What did you like/dislike about the experience? I didn’t like the Lotus diagram because I didn’t know what to put in the boxes. —What did you learn about the people you’re working with? I didn’t really learn anything new about anyone. Now What —What learning occurred for you in this experience? I learnt how to make a Google docs account and what a Lotus diagram is and how to use it. —How can you apply this learning? Week 4 Wednesday What? —What happened today? I finalised my online survey and sent it to the Working Party members. —What did you achieve? I completed my online survey and got results. So What? —Did you learn a new skill or develop some new understanding? I learnt how you get the results of your survey. —How is your experience different from what you expected? I didn’t know that the survey results were put into graphs automatically. —What did you like/dislike about the experience? I liked the survey and how it works. —What did you learn about the people you’re working with? I didn’t really learn anything new about anyone. Now What —What learning occurred for you in this experience? I learnt about online surveys. —How can you apply this learning? I can make surveys using Google docs. —What would you like to learn more about, related to this project or issue? Not much at this stage.

Week 4 Thursday What? —What happened today? I went to the working Party meeting and discussed the surveys with my group members. We talked about how we could change the surveys and what was good. I then sent my new Survey to 20 people and received the results. —What did you achieve? I updated my survey and gave feedback to other group members. So What? —Did you learn a new skill or develop some new understanding? I didn’t develop an new understanding or learn a new skill. —How is your experience different from what you expected? It wasn’t different from what I expected. —What did you like/dislike about the experience? I —What did you learn about the people you’re working with? I didn’t really learn anything new about anyone. Week 7 Monday What? —What happened today? I made the graphs for my survey results. —What did you achieve? I put my results into easy to read graphs. So What? —Did you learn a new skill or develop some new understanding? Yes. I understand how to use excel to make graphs and which graphs to use for different data. —How is your experience different from what you expected? No. It isn’t different to what I expected. —What did you like/dislike about the experience? I thought making graphs was alright. —What did you learn about the people you’re working with? I didn’t really learn anything new about anyone. Now What —What learning occurred for you in this experience? I learnt how to effectively make graphs on excel. —How can you apply this learning? I can make graphs of data that I collect in the future using excel. —What would you like to learn more about, related to this project or issue? Not much at this stage.

Week 7 Tuesday What? —What happened today? I finished off my graphs and made a progress report. —What did you achieve? I made my progress report. So What? —Did you learn a new skill or develop some new understanding? No. —How is your experience different from what you expected? It wasn’t different from what I expected. —What did you like/dislike about the experience? I didn’t like that the Internet was down for a while. —What did you learn about the people you’re working with? I didn’t really learn anything new about anyone. Now What —What learning occurred for you in this experience? Not a lot because all I could do was make a progress report. —How can you apply this learning? I can make progress reports in the future so I know where I am at and where I need to get. —What would you like to learn more about, related to this project or issue? Nothing.

Week 7 Wednesday What? —What happened today? There was a whole group meeting. —What did you achieve? I made a wikispace. So What? —Did you learn a new skill or develop some new understanding? I created a wikispace which was new to me. —How is your experience different from what you expected? It wasn’t different from what I expected. —What did you like/dislike about the experience? Nothing. —What did you learn about the people you’re working with? I didn’t really learn anything new about anyone. Now What —What learning occurred for you in this experience? I learnt how to create a wikispace. —How can you apply this learning? I am not sure. —What would you like to learn more about, related to this project or issue? Not much at this stage.
