Web 2.0 A forum for anyone to create, share and collaborate. A forum for anyone to create, share and collaborate. Web 2.0 is a term used to encompass the growing number of web-based tools. Many of these tools are free and/or social in nature, promoting self-expression and transitioning the Internet from a place of isolation to one of interconnectedness (Solomon & Schrum, 2007).
