A taste of Chevening (St Botolphs) C.E Primary School A taste of Chevening St Botolphs Primary School

Introduction Church of England School School Council/ Eco Council We would like to share some of our ideas We hope you enjoy our presentation A taste of Chevening St Botolphs Primary School

Our school/eco council A taste of Chevening St Botolphs Primary School In order to be a school/eco council member, the pupils of the school (from class 2 to class 6) will have to perform a speech, about why they believe they should be chosen, how they would be good at the job and any ideas they have. The children vote for the best 2 candidates who’ve spoken and those candidates will be chosen for the school council and eco council

Ideas… ~Class 6 and Class R connection ~Our new active playground ~Ks2 extension A taste of Chevening St Botolphs Primary School

Class 6 and class R connection  In class 6 we are paired up with a child from class R who (for the year) will be our buddy. Class 6’s job is nurture and to care for the Class Rs.  We can play with them  Teach them  Anything as long as it will encourage the child in their journey A taste of Chevening St Botolphs Primary School

Our new active playground  Recently in our school we have constructed an active playground. In order for more wildness on the playground. We have included ~A climbing area ~A balancing area ~And a swinging area A taste of Chevening St Botolphs Primary School

Ks2 extension  In front of the Ks2 building we are making an extension. This will enable more learning space and locker space.  We are so excited about this event. That the children are going to have their names carved in the bricks that the area will be built with. A taste of Chevening St Botolphs Primary School

What our School council/ Eco council have done so far this year…  For Christmas we made a Samaritan's purse shoebox wall.  For the Christmas fair we had a 5 minute Lego building challenge, and it was a great success  Every week in fact our school council have met and each time we always enjoy it!
