3. The Chevening School Council

4. This is our school council suggestion box
This is our school council suggestion box. If people want to change something around the school they put their suggestion in the box. Many of the slides show you things that were suggested.

5. We all made this mosaic to go outside our office after seeing a lovely example during a Learning Walk!

6. This is our school council board
This is our school council board. It updates you with what we have been doing for the school council.

7. We use this as our games cupboard in the winter
We use this as our games cupboard in the winter. The School council look after the equipment and bought most of it after raising money at events.

8. This is our ‘buddy stop’ so if you get lonely you go here and somebody will play with you. But we also use it to shelter us from the rain! It was a school council idea.

9. This is our train. The year 6 who left in 2004 gave us this.

10. We have football walls so that if we can’t go on the field we play here.

11. This is our new playground and quiet area
This is our new playground and quiet area. The school council helped design it and checked the planning documents and maps.

12. These benches were picked by the School Council
These benches were picked by the School Council. They lift up so that we can store our new games in them!

13. The School Council bought special tables so that we can play games on them.

14. There are lots of seats because the Suggestion Box said that some children didn’t want to play games at playtime.
