How to increase the market share for Public Transport by 100% until 2020? or How to convince car drivers that Public Transport is a good option?

Samtrafiken i Sverige AB Founded in 1993. Collection and distribution of information about how to travel with public transport, especially when travelling with more than one operator (Resplus) Non-profit (earning passengers) Turnover: 35 MSek, ~90% from Resplus 30 owners: all 21 PTAs, Arlanda Express, People Travel Group, SJ, Tågkompaniet och Veolia Transport samt BT Buss, Swebus Express och Destination Gotland och Waxholmsbolaget. Agreements regarding organisation/financing and Resplus

Co-operation in the following areas: Planning Stations Information Tickets (Resplus - combined trips) Oavsett om man är Resplus-partnerföretag eller ägarföretag så skriver man på samma avtal, det så kallade Samtrafikavtalet. Men vilka områden reglerar då Samtrafikavtalet?

Future challenges We have decided to: - Improve the processes and tools for data collection, quality assurance and data distribution. Be prepared for de-regulation in the passenger rail industry Find better ways to follow up our investments. ”Do we generate new travellers?” - Improve the information for disabled people and the staff assisting disabled people. We would like to: Find a common way, together with our owners, to present CO2 emissions. It must be a usable decision tool! Improve the route planner for cars in co-operation with experts in this area
