J-Fill is the industry leading dispensing platform, but theres always opportunities to improve –Best dispensing system in the industry with its patented design. We sell more than 1,000,000 cases of J-Fill each year –Numerous patented features which include pre-tipped bottles and Spill-Tite bottle plugs –J-Fill Spill-Tite plugs are engineered leak-free, even when pressure is applied to the bottle, which virtually eliminates the risk of chemical exposure –Since its launch, all J-Fill bottles come with a white shipping cap to cover the J- Fill plug –To improve the sustainability of the J-Fill system, we evaluated what value the shipping caps were adding –Our conclusion is that this cap has doesnt contribute to the functionality of the system. It doesnt provide any seal or additional protection during shipment. Its only function is to cover the J-Fill plug and keep dust off the plug.

J-Fill is the industry leading dispensing platform, but theres always opportunities to improve –As a result of that study, we concluded the value isnt worth the environmental cost, so we will be removing the white shipping cap over the next year –This will remove the environmental cost of providing over 2,000,000 caps that dont provide a benefit to customers –Removing this cap will not affect end-users or dilutions and will strengthen the sustainability of the J-Fill line of products

We dirtied up J-Fill bottles and tested them to prove the dilution didnt change –Dilution ratios on three products with extremely lean concentrations were tested with substantial debris on the plug to ensure dispensing rates would not be impacted if there was a build-up due to sitting on shelving over time. –The dilution ratios stayed within normal variations despite applying large amounts of debris to the nozzle. –Note the black color in the plug is the remaining dust, which did not affect the dilution rate, but completely covered the plug during testing. There are no shipping implications to removing the dust cover –The stresses of shipping was simulated in our labs and it passed with zero leaking bottles –We used the International Safe Transit Association, ISTA A1 test, which is meant to simulate a UPS / FEDEX / small parcel shipment environment –DOT mandatory Drop Tests were performed without the cap on the bottle and passed without leaking –Drop tests are performed at 48 high All bottles were conditioned to 0 degrees C for 48 hours prior to drop –Drops were performed at each orientation (bottom, top, side 1, side 2) and one corner to ensure package stability –A 1 hour vibration test was also conducted, with no issues detected

The Sustainability of J-Fill Improves by removing the shipping cap –Removes over 2,000,000 caps from the waste stream –Reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 17 tons per year –Saves 2,000 mega joules of energy per year, which is enough to power the average home for approximately 50 years –Reduces water consumption by 30,000 gallons per year during manufacturing

The J-Fill Dust Cap Removal will be a rolling change throughout 2010 –This change is expected to be visible to customers in February 2010 –Production is using up the remainder of J-Fill Dust Caps –This will be a rolling change as its visibility will be dependant on sales pace and inventory levels for each J-Fill SKU
