Strategies for deterring and dealing with purchased work. We all know it is happening, and that this is real cheating, but seem fairly powerless to do anything about it. Strategies for dealing with possession electronic devices in exams. What works? Sanctions? Policies around editing. ELL issues What, if anything, can we do to try and put the teaching of basic research/writing skills back into the hands of high schools? ISSUES and TOPICS

How to assess/evaluate the effectiveness of their educational programming. How to evaluate our services and measure whether or not programming is achieving the intended goals/mandates. Challenges: with this- people-resources required to Development and administration of assessment tools. Collect/analyze data; practicalities of collecting ‘data’ from students who participate in our programming. What would assessment tools look like? ISSUES and TOPICS

Is anyone using a “discipline matrix”? Statistics reporting: Do you report? What is reported (total cases; just appeal cases)? Is this public? Tracking work flow: Do you track the things that you do (e.g. presentations, consultations, etc)? Who sees this data? How is this data used to inform us about how we do our work? How is this data used to inform the University community? ISSUES and TOPICS
