A Nature Cure to High Blood Lipid Level -Hydrogen Rich Water

About Metabolic Syndrome Metabolic syndrome refers to conditions such as metabolic syndrome X, cardiometabolic syndrome, syndrome X, insulin resistance syndrome, Reaven's syndrome , and CHAOS . It is a disorder of energy utilization and storage, diagnosed by a co-occurrence of three out of five of the following medical conditions: Abdominal (central) obesity, Elevated blood pressure, Elevated fasting plasma glucose, High serum triglycerides, Low high-density cholesterol (HDL) levels. WHO Diagnosis Blood pressure: ≥ 140/90 mmHg Dyslipidemia: triglycerides (TG): ≥ 1.695 mmol/L , high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) ≤ 0.9 mmol/L (male), ≤ 1.0 mmol/L (female) Central obesity: waist:hip ratio > 0.90 (male); > 0.85 (female), or body mass index > 30 kg/m2 Microalbuminuria: urinary albumin excretion ratio ≥ 20 µg/min or albumin: creatinine ratio ≥ 30 mg/g http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metabolic_syndrome EGIR Diagnosis Central obesity: waist circumference ≥ 94 cm or 37 inches (male), ≥ 80 cm or 31.5 inches (female) Dyslipidemia: TG ≥ 2.0 mmol/L and/or HDL-C < 1.0 mmol/L or treated for dyslipidemia Hypertension: blood pressure ≥ 140/90 mmHg or antihypertensive medication Fasting plasma glucose ≥ 6.1 mmol/L American Heart Assoc Diagnosis Elevated waist circumference: Men—greater than 40 inches (102 cm),Women—greater than 35 inches (88 cm) Elevated triglycerides: Equal to or greater than 150 mg/dL (1.7 mmol/L) Reduced HDL ("good") cholesterol: Men—Less than 40 mg/dL (1.03 mmol/L),Women—Less than 50 mg/dL (1.29 mmol/L) Elevated blood pressure: Equal to or greater than 130/85 mm Hg or use of medication for hypertension Elevated fasting glucose: Equal to or greater than 100 mg/dL (5.6 mmol/L) or use of medication for hyperglycemia

How Metabolic Syndrome Develops Risks Metabolic syndrome increases the risk of developing cardiovascular disease, particularly heart failure, and diabetes. Some studies have shown the prevalence in the USA to be an estimated 34% of the adult population, and the prevalence increases with age. Prevention Various strategies have been proposed to prevent the development of metabolic syndrome. These include increased physical activity (such as walking 30 minutes every day), and a healthy, reduced calorie diet. Many studies support the value of a healthy lifestyle as above. However, one study stated these potentially beneficial measures are effective in only a minority of people, primarily due to a lack of compliance with lifestyle and diet changes.

Latest Found 1: The Magical “Nordenau Phenomenon” Abstract.: This prospective observation study examines changes in the relevant tests parameters of 411 diabetes patients drinking natural reduced water from the “Nordenau Spring”, as well as a correlation of these changes with the fluctuation of the reactive oxygen species in their blood. The average age of the test persons is 71.5 years and the daily consumption of reduced water is as much as two liters. The average duration of stay in Nordenau is 6 days. The diagnostic parameters such as blood sugar, HbA1c, cholesterol, LDL, HDL, and serum creatinine concentration are tested twice – at the beginning and at the end of the participants stay in Nordenau. Additionally a random sample of reactive oxygen species in the blood of 136 patients is taken in order to find out its possible causal connections to the diabetes relevant test parameters. HbA1c has been considered as the substantial test parameter in order to break down the whole group into responder and non-responder categories. One hundred and eighty six tested persons or 45% of the total have been assigned to the responder group, meaning that the patients’ HbA1c and blood sugar improved significantly. Background: Active hydrogen was shown to exist in water in Nordenau Germany, The finding implies that miraculous recovery from a variety of diseases obtained by the intake of water in Nordenau should be brought about by the scavenging ability of the active hydrogen contained in it,thus called “Nordenau Phenomenon” Founds ★ Given the results of the clinical follow up studies on 411 diabetes II patients, it can be said that reduced water consumption seems to have a beneficial effect upon the most important diabetes parameters. ★ The evaluation of the clinical data estimates number needed to treat on four patients in order to achieve the significant improvement of all diabetes relevant parameters. This is a very good quotient; moreover it could be achieved entirely without side effects. ★ This improvement scales up parallel to the quantity of consumed reducer water. ★ The significant improvement of diabetes relevant parameters like blood fats and creatinine can be also beneficial to other diseases like high blood pressure, circulatory disturbance, renal insufficiency or atherosclerotic dementia.

Latest Found 2: Hydrogen Rich Water and Metabolic Syndrome Abstract Metabolic syndrome is characterized by cardiometabolic risk factors that include obesity, insulin resistance, hypertension and dyslipidemia. Oxidative stress is known to play a major role in the pathogenesis of metabolic syndrome. The objective of this study was to examine the effectiveness of hydrogen rich water (1.5–2 L/day) in an open label, 8-week study on 20 subjects with potential metabolic syndrome. The consumption of hydrogen rich water for 8 weeks resulted in a 39% increase (p<0.05) in antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD) and a 43% decrease (p<0.05) in thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) in urine. Further, subjects demonstrated an 8% increase in high density lipoprotein (HDL)-cholesterol and a 13% decrease in total cholesterol/HDL-cholesterol from baseline to week 4. There was no change in fasting glucose levels during the 8 week study. Conclusion Drinking hydrogen rich water represents a potentially novel therapeutic and preventive strategy for metabolic syndrome. The portable magnesium stick was a safe, easy and effective method of delivering hydrogen rich water for daily consumption by participants in the study. Results Subjects Background

Latest Found 3: Hydrogen Rich Water and Metabolic Syndrome Abstract We have found that hydrogen (dihydrogen; H2) has beneficial lipid-lowering effects in high-fat diet-fed Syrian golden hamsters. The objective of this study was to characterize the effects of H2-rich water (0.9-1.0 L/day) on the content, composition, and biological activities of serum lipoproteins on 20 patients with potential metabolic syndrome. Serum analysis showed that consumption of H2-rich water for 10 weeks resulted in decreased serum total-cholesterol (TC) and LDL-cholesterol (LDL-C) levels. Western blot analysis revealed a marked decrease of apolipoprotein (apo)B100 and apoE in serum. … In conclusion, supplementation with H2-rich water seems to decrease serum LDL-C and apoB levels, improve dyslipidemia-injured HDL functions, and reduce oxidative stress, and it may have a beneficial role in prevention of potential metabolic syndrome. More Founds About Hydrogen Rich Water Despite the above 3 founds about the medical effectiveness of Hydrogen Water, there are over 600 different founds among the world till 2014 on Hydrogen. However, even there are other 2 methods of medical use of Hydrogen, which are hydrogen gas breathing and hydrogen solution injection, it is a common knowledge that Hydrogen Rich Water Drinking is the most practical and safe method to take hydrogen.
