TIPS FOR CRACKING EXAMS To crack the subjective tests: Understand and study – don’t mug up. Build up a strong foundation. Finish the Syllabus at least 4 months before the examination. Revise the course once, preferably twice before the exam. Do a ‘deficiency’ analysis and improve your week areas & work to eliminate it. Be consistent in your application- follow a schedule. If you do not understand – go to a teacher or a classmate for help. Form Study teams – meet at regular intervals to discuss questions and support each other. Have a positive self image !!! Think positive. Sleep well the night before the exam & crack it !!! www.schoolofeducators.com

To crack the objective/ Multiple choice tests: Understand the syllabus and prepare early. Form a study team to buy a correspondence course Finish the syllabus well in advance Build up your base. Strengthen it. Give a mock test without reference to the time limit. Do a deficiency analysis. Analysis you mistake Take corrective action. For silly mistakes- the trick is to understand why you made the mistake and try not to repeat it. www.schoolofeducators.com

To crack the objective/ Multiple choice tests: 10. If it is a case of knowing the subject – re-read those chapters and strengthen your base. 11. Give another 2-3 mock tests and review it using points 5 to 10. 12. Once the “base” is ready – now focus on speed. 13. Break up questions into A, B, and C categories. A – Questions which you can answer immediately and which do no take much time to answer. B- questions, which you can answer but will take a longer time. C- questions which you cannot answer at all. First attempt category “A” questions. Time permitting – attempt category “B” and if there is still time left – look at category C”. 14. If there is negative marking – avoid guesswork. 15. Have a positive Self Image. Sleep well the night before the exam & crack it !!! 16. Do not waste time on a question you are not sure of. Attempting the answerable questions first and try the doubtful ones when revising the paper. www.schoolofeducators.com
