QUOTED FROM THE COLLEGE BOARD: “The AP Spanish Language course should help prepare students to demonstrate their level of Spanish proficiency across three communicative modes (Interpersonal, Interpretive, and Presentational.) The course is meant to be comparable to fifth and sixth semester (or the equivalent) college and university courses that focus on speaking and writing in the target language at an advanced level.... Students need to have an excellent foundation in grammar and syntax in order to be successful in the parts of the exam that measure accuracy.”

GRAMMAR Curriculum should be “backloaded” Major topics completed before AP Level In AP, periodic reviews of about 10 mins. Pop-up grammar lessons as needed PowerPoint reviews http://www.eslconnect.com/apspanish/SECRET OF SUBJUNCTIVE.ppt Quick worksheets (end of class/HW) Synopses for fast review of Moods & Tenses http://www.eslconnect.com/apspanish/SYNOPSIS.doc
