Talking about things The test was confusing, frustrating, tiring..... The situation was embarrassing, disgusting, depressing, frightening.... The news was shoking, surprising..... The movie was exciting, interesting, boring, relaxing, amazing, fascinating......

You use the sufix -ed when the adjective is related to how people feel. Ex: I was disgusted to see that situation. You use the sufix -ing when the adjective is related to things or people that cause a certain feeling. Ex: The situation was disgusting. / The teacher is boring.
