Develop an understanding of the definitions and standards for visual and information literacy in order to identify pedagogical methods for teaching in an environment where words and images convey important meanings. Be able to articulate learning outcomes for teaching that incorporate elements of both visual and information literacy. Be able to develop rubrics or articulate criteria for visual and information literacy in order to assess student learning.
