Her mother died in 1892.Eleanor became an orphan at the age of 10 with the death of her father. She went to school in England. She was smart. They had 6 children named Anna Eleanor, Franklin Jr., Elliot, Franklin Delano, Jr., John, and James. Her husband died of a polio attack in1921. Eleanor died on November 17, 1962 in New York, New York of cancer.
