Your Library has a wealth of high quality content that can be easily used for instructional purposes at no cost to your students  This PPT provides an overview of how your campus can connect your library discovery services with your LMS so you can take the materials you found from your library search and export the information directly into your LMS.

 Using Library Resources for Instruction –Convenience is key to changing behaviors –Export your library citations to Blackboard  Use primary sources at no student costs  Blend faculty research/scholarship skills and interests into instruction  Leverages your library collection investments  Exporting into Moodle and D2L is in development  CSU Stanislaus Is Leading The Way –No smoke and mirrors – it’s working

Leveraging Library to LMS Tool  Use the powerful discovery tools of libraries  Use the extensive digital collections of libraries for multiple purposes  Use Single Sign-On (Identity Management) – you log on to Library System and it will export to your personalized LMS location  The LMS (Blackboard) uses a “plug in/building block” to import the library citations

Customizable Bb Plug-in Choose Your User Interface Users Choose Location for Library Citations

We Give Users Feedback That They Were Successful In Importing Library Citations
