Presentation to the Executive Committee PAHO/WHO, June PAHO Activities Training in WNV surveillance and diagnostics for epidemiologists, laboratory personnel and veterinarians, with CDC collaborating.  2002: CAREC 23 participants from Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Cuba, French Guiana, Colombia, Brazil, and Venezuela.  2003: Gorgas Institute and Ministry of Agriculture (Panama) 35 participants from Dominican Republic, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.
