History  2002 – St. Clair opens as Choice School with AD Dress Code  Survey and parent meetings to discuss expanding AD Policy to elementary buildings – favorable response  Chestnut Elementary opens with AD Policy – parent survey shows positive response  2008 – Elm Street, Maple Elementaries and Heritage Middle open with AD Policy  2008 – Parent survey shows overwhelming support of AD Policy.

The Basics  Shirts - Polo Style, Dress Shirts, Turtlenecks Colors – Red, White, Navy Blue Light Blue, Black  Pants, Skirts, Shorts, Capri's, Jumpers Colors – Black, Khaki, Navy Blue  Low Heel, Closed Toe And Heel Shoes  Belts – Grade 3-8

Pants, Skirts, Shorts and Jumpers  Khaki, black or navy blue traditional flat front or pleated style pant is allowed. Corduroy and Capri pants are permitted in appropriate color and style  Garments must be appropriately sized and worn at the waist.  Skirt, skort or shorts - must extend to the top of the knee or below  Some pant styles not allowed: cargo, carpenter, painter, jeans, sweats

Outerwear  Only small district logos and approved colors are allowed for pullover sweatshirts. No Hoodies  Sweaters and vest– approved colors over approved shirts
