2 “Dress for Success” Policy
Every citizen must follow policies—not just in school, but in all walks of life and at every age. Although we may not like all the policies we are asked to follow, we understand why they exist. Learning to follow policies is a part of becoming a mature adult. With that in mind, we want to help you fully understand the dress code expectations. Please pay attention today as we communicate about what works and what doesn’t work in regard to … “Dress for Success.”

6 No leggings, or yoga pants or jeggings or any other stretchy material pant; they are not uniform pants.

7 DO wear uniform style pants.

8 Acceptable Shirt Styles
Collared button-up that is buttoned up or polo-shirt, long or short sleeves; a solid color long sleeve may be worn under the polo, but the button-up shirt must be buttoned up.

16 Do not wear sleeveless shirts without a solid shirt beneath it.
Spirit Wear EVERY FRIDAY Reitz logo T-shirts, school-issued polos, or Reitz jerseys may be worn with the “dress for success” pants, skirts, or shorts on spirit days. (no jeans) Do not wear sleeveless shirts without a solid shirt beneath it.

17 Cool-Weather Items A collared button-up or polo must be worn under the following: SOLID hood-less sweater SOLID hood-less sweatshirt SOLID hood-less cardigan SOLID hood-less vest SOLID zip-up hood-less fleece SOLID hood-less softshell Small manufacturer or school logo acceptable As part of our safety policy, all coats are placed in student lockers as soon as students enter the building.

23 Also Note Wear leggings only if worn with knee-length shorts or skirts. Wear pants that fit at the waist and do not bag or sag. Wear clothing that is not see-through or sheer. Wear jewelry that is not sharp or could cause a safety concern. Wear clothing without holes or tears or rips. Wear clothing that covers the chest, stomach, and shoulders. Wear “Dress for Success” clothing when returning from another EVSC program. Do not wear head coverings, hats, or sunglasses in the building. Other items found to be disruptive or inappropriate will be addressed by the school administration.
