Leaders Roles  Ensure Safety  Delegate Task  Keep Track of the Time  Encourage Participation

 Body: Milk carton Empty tissue box 500ml or 1.5L plastic bottles  Axles and Wheels: Satay sticks (provided by GKidz) Straws (provided by GKidz) Bottle caps  Raffia Strings – Timothy Club (provided by GKidz)  Sails – Barnabas Club: plastic bags newspapers

To make the wheels, firstly, use a screwdriver to puncture the bottle caps

Use a scissors to cut the straw, shorter than the width of the car body

Insert a satay stick into the punctured bottle cap, then insert the cut straw into it

Insert another punctured bottle cap at the other end

Using a scotch tape, secure the axles and wheels onto the body of the car. Cut away the excess satay stick

Timothy Club Cut a raffia string long enough for a child to pull. Use scotch tape to stick it onto the car

To make the sail, cut a plastic bag into a square-shaped sheet Pierce the plastic sheet with satay sticks (cut the length accordingly) Poke the sticks through it as shown in the figure below (Rag cloth is used as an example). Barnabas Club Front viewBack view

Insert a satay stick through the middle of the sail (as shown in the pictures below) Insert the sails to the middle part of the car’s body. Ensure it pierces all the way through. Secure the bottom of the sails onto the body with tape to ensure it does not turn to the left or right while fanning. Add a few decorations to impress the judges and the car is ready for racing.
