STUDENT LED CONFERENCE SCIENCE LITERACY

How do you feel you have grown as a learner from your honey bee experience? I have learned about how to contact people in the state and also I learned how to go and gather up information about the honey bees quickly. Also I know how to leave out the bad information, and put in the good stuff. Also I now know how to make sure everything is organized and in order.

Did your group work well together? Why or why not? Some people worked together and others did not. I think that certain people should not feel like they are in charge of the whole group. I think that they should worry about what they have to do. Also during the bee project everybody should be calm and quiet not loud. Additionally, my team should start to split up jobs more fairly.

What has been your favorite part of this challenge My favorite part was looking for competitions and starting the business cards. Also I enjoyed adding the numbers up so we can figure out how much money we need to buy everything. My job was to interview each group and find out what they need which was helpful and fun for me because I saw what other groups were working on and it gave me a chance to see other parts of our project.

What is your overall individual goal for this class? My goal is to get a lot of work done in the class periods that we have and not to socialize that much. Also I want to make a big impact on the project. Another goal I have is to write a grant so I can earn money for the project. I would like to do this because it would help my writing skills and help me do something for the bees which is another one of my overall goals for this class. Additionally, it would be fun and I would have my own job to do.
