From a Section Perspective Why do have a Region? –Make sections more successful than if there was no Region –Provide resources beyond basic section funding –Communicate and link to IEEE and IEEE-USA support –Consume resources and make section operations difficult – NOT –Share best practices – provide training –Open channels to new ideas that provide member value 21 April 20126
