Analyse in depth a significant contemporary event from a geographic perspective. Analyse comprehensively a significant contemporary event from a geographic perspective. Student Assessment Guidelines: Rhythm and Vines is a three day music event held in Gisborne each year. It takes place over the New Year period and attracts a wide range of musicians, bands and concert goers to the region. During this internal assessment you will be analysing the planning and decision making that occurs in order to make this event run. Impacts of the events will be explained and evaluated.

Rhythm and Vines History 1C - What is the spatial nature of the event? - Create an annotated map which describes the spatial nature of the event. e.g. location, size and distance from Gisborne CBD and residential areas. Create a flow chart that outlines the main steps in the event planning process – provide a specific example for each.
