The Application Process Download the application from our CIM.ca site. – Review the criteria, and check the one that applies to you The applicant is required to document reasonable evidence covering these accountabilities and practices as outlined in the application form. Complete & Submit the application (w/ appropriate fees) to a local CIM Branch, or directly to the National Office. If any information is missing, the application is sent back to the applicant to provide what was lacking in the original application. One it is deemed the application is complete, it is logged on the P.Mgr application tracker. Then forwarded (with all supporting documentation) electronically to a regional P.Mgr committee member, and cc'ed to the National P.Mgr committee chair. The regional P.Mgr committee member will go through the application to ensure all the P.Mgr criteria are met. – All references are contacted to verify the information in their signed letter is correct.

The Application Process Once the regional committee member is satisfied the criteria has been met, they will send an note to the national committee chair verifying all references have been contacted and verified, along with their recommendation. The national committee chair will then go through the application to ensure he is confident the application meets the minimal P.Mgr requirements. Once he is satisfied, he will send an note to the National Office informing them the application was successful and the person qualifies for the P.Mgr designation. The national office will then start the process of creating the designation documentation. If the application came through a branch, the designation will be sent to the branch. Most branches prefer to have an awards ceremony where the individual is presented their designation at a branch event.
