Youth Engagement Our goals: -Raise awareness of children’s rights among children and youth in communities around U of T St. George campus -Provide opportunities for U of T volunteers to improve their understanding of children’s rights and develop their leadership as well as communication skills.

Youth Engagement Our target audience: - Grades 3-10 in community centres and boys and girls clubs (in after-school programs) located around U of T St. George campus

Youth Engagement Our topics: -Children’s rights - Education - Equality - Health - Protection Total number of workshops: 5

Youth Engagement Biweekly workshops Work with a partner (paired up with someone who has a similar schedule) Work with the same group of children throughout

Timeline - 1 st training session: Nov 28 (Mon) CIE Cumberland (Mandatory) - 2 nd training session: second week of January (Mandatory) - Your first workshop: last week of January
