The gods There was 12 main gods they are called Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Ares, Apollo, Hephaestus,Hera, Artemis, Aphrodite, Demeter, Hestia and Athena

Zeus The king of the gods,Zeus is the lord of the sky. All the other gods obey him because he made his father, Cronus, choke out his other brothers and sisters Poseidon, Hades, Demeter, Hera, Hestia. Zeus’s abilities: throws thunderbolts, Immortality, Controls the winds

Poseidon Zeus’s brother,Poseidon is the ruler of the sea, earthquakes and horses. He is the most important god after Zeus and Hera. Hades Ruler of the underworld Hades is very lonely as the only person who lives with him is the goddess of flowers, Persephone Hades super abilities: ruler of the underworld, immortally, owns a very scary dog called Cerebus

Hephaestus God of the forges Hephaestus is the god of metal, fire, volcanoes, and craftsmanship. Like other mythic smiths but unlike most other gods, Hephaestus was lame, which gave him a grotesque appearance in Greek eyes. He served as the blacksmith of the gods, and he was worshipped in the manufacturing and industrial centres of Greece. Hephaestus’s abilities : very very strong, can make almost every thing from metal, immortally.

Athena The goddess of war and wisdom, Athena was probably the cleverest of the Gods. She got Athens named after her and her symbol was the owl. Athena’s abilities : can make olive trees, war strategies, immortally.

Demeter The goddess of plants, farmers and springtime Demeter was the most caring of the gods. She often had to stop the fights between Hera, Athena and Aphrodite. Demeter’s abilities: can make plants grow, immortally.

Aphrodite The goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite, often made disputes between the gods. She was born in a very weird way. When Uranus was killed,some of his blood went in the sea and then Aphrodite popped up from the sea. Aphrodite's abilities: just looks lovely, immortally

Artemis The goddess of the moon and hunting, Artemis was a maiden, never to marry. She was the twin of Apollo Artemis’s abilities: super accurate bow and arrow shooting, immortality.

Hestia The goddess of fire and the heath Hestia was the most calm god in the council and she was one of the six inaugural gods who defeated Cronus Hestia abilities : control of fire,immortality

Minor gods Some of the gods weren't as important and so was called minor gods and goddess such as Dionysus and Phobos When the gods had children with mortals the children were called demigods.
