leopard The leopard is a meat eater and as you may know they can run extremely fast. Although they are orange with dots you still can’t see them when you would think you can.

panda Pandas are big fat things (just joking) and they eat loads of bamboo. They like to come out at night but some come out in the day it normally happens when they are in a zoo.

They are really strong and are related to Monkeys they also love eating bananas as you can see in the background.

tarantula The tarantula spiders come only from southern Europe and are normally more than 4cm in length. The only tarantula related species found in Britain is the rare purse-web spider, Alypus Affinis. There are about 300 species world-wide and they are amongst the largest and longest living of all the land invertebrates. Tarantulas eat a lot of things like this: beetles, grasshoppers, moths, woodlice, millipedes, other spiders. Larger species eat small snakes, lizards, frogs, toads, mice, and baby or roosting birds.

sloth They love to sleep but they also climb up trees for leaves and branches to eat. Some of them come out at night because they sleep in the day they have very sharp claws. Sloth’s are extremely slow moving mammals found in the rainforest canopies of central and south America. There are two species of sloth’s: two-toed and three-toed. Most sloth’s are about the size of a small dog and they have short, flat, flat heads. Their hair is greyish brown but, at times they look grey-green in colour because they move so slowly that tiny camouflaging algae grows all over their coats. Some sloth's stay in the same tree for years. Their huge hooked claws and long arms allow them to spend most of their time hanging upside down from trees. Since they had a slow metabolism, they need very little food. They feed on fruit, leaves, buds, and young twigs. Sloth’s also sleep upside-down for up to 18 hours at a time. Mothers also give birth to babies upside-down. Babies cling to their mothers until they are able to take care of themselves.

monkey Monkeys are so cute some times and They love company. They are extremely good at climbing trees and when they are in a zoo they are very good at stealing things. They eat bananas.

plants Plants are very interesting things they all smell different and look different and people use them as gifts. Roses are a sign of love.

cures There are cures in the Amazon rainforest that can help a lot of people. Here are some of the cures that are found in the forests (cuts and bites).

Amazon river The Amazon River goes through all the Forest. It passes huts, Farms and other things! It is a great natural point for everyone.

facts There are 7different species of monkeys and 530 types of birds in 2 square miles. Scientists have found 80 kind of ants and 650 species of beetles on 1 single tree – Think how much There are in whole. All of these facts are found in the largest Amazon rainforest in south America!.7different species of monkeys

People set fire to the Amazon rainforest so there was more room for farming but this didn’t work out. As it started raining the fields flooded because of the tree water cycle. If we loose the Amazon rainforest they will be no homes for the animals that live there!.

tribes Tribes live in huts and Farm for their food. They crop there own food in fields and sometimes have normal farm animals to produce milk, eggs or other things. Living In the Amazon Forest isn’t as easy as you think because there are lots of dangers – for example, a leopard.
