Exam and revision techniques

1. To describe the main EU institutions. 2. To identify the differing sources of EU law and their impacts. 3. To explain the requirements for differing exam questions through essay planning.

 In your groups, break down the exam questions into lists describing what you have to work on with each questions:  Describe the impact of EU law.  Outline the impact of EU law.  Explain the impact of EU law.  Discuss/Comment the impact of EU law. Pay attention to the highlighted verb-what do you think the examiner wants you to do?

 Working in your groups, use the paper templates to design your own flow chart for the opposite team to put into order.  Group 1-EU institutions.  Group 2-EU sources of law. Make it testing-but make sure you know the answers too!

 Working with the information gathered from activities 1 and 2, design a detailed essay plan on this past paper question:  What does the examiner want you to do, and what would you write about?

1. To describe the main EU institutions. 2. To identify the differing sources of EU law and their impacts. 3. To explain the requirements for differing exam questions through essay planning.
