Wednesday, September 25  Objective: I will deepen my understanding of the setting of The Glass Menagerie by reading scene 2 and analyzing sample soundtracks from various productions of the play.  Standards: RL , RL , L a, L a  Journal: In a few sentences, summarize the first scene. Who are the characters so far ? What happened?

Unit 2 Summative Assessments  Summative Assessment #1: Unit Exam  Vocabulary (Matching)  Short answers (based on chapter questions)  Short essay (1 page based on characters and symbolism)  October 11 (Block 5) and October 14 (Block 2, 4, 8)  Summative Assessment #2: Characterization Project  Character study through a different medium: poetry, collage, music, video, etc.  Menagerie Showcase: October 17 (Block 5) and October 18 (Block 2, 4, 8)
