Presentation transcript:

Start by rolling the playdoh into a large hot dog shape Cut it in half. Place one half into Jupiter. Cut the other half into 5 equal parts Combine 1 part in the Jupiter box Combine 3 parts together, roll them into a ball and put the ball in the Saturn box 1. Making 10 equal parts

Roll into hotdog shape again Cut in half. Take one half and combine it into the Saturn box. Divide the other part into 5 parts. Combine 2 parts to put into the Neptune box Put 2 parts into the Uranus box 2. Cut the remaining part into 10

Roll out again Cut into 4 equal parts Take 3 parts and combine them with the Saturn box 3. Cut the remaining part into 4

Roll and cut into 10 equal parts. Put 2 parts in the Earth box. Put 2 parts in the Venus box. Take 4 parts and combine them with the ball in the Uranus box. 4. Cut the remaining part into 10

Cut each part into 5 equal parts so that you have a total of 10 equal parts Put 1 part into the Mars box. Take 4 parts and combine them with the Neptune box. Take 4 parts and combine them with the Uranus box parts again

Cut the remaining piece into two pieces. Place one half into Mercury. Cut the other half into 5 equal parts. Put 2 parts into the Mercury box. Take 2 parts and combine them with the ball in the Uranus box parts again

Cut the remaining piece into 4 equal parts. Take 3 parts and combine them with the ball in the Uranus box. Put one part into the Pluto box. 7. Cut into 4 equal parts

Why is Pluto now considered a dwarf planet? Jupiter is the first of the gas planets, why do you think it is the biggest? How many tubs do you think it would take to make the sun? Reflection
