Copyright Defined as “the exclusive legal right to reproduce, publish, sell, or distribute the matter and form of something (as a literary, musical, or artistic work)” (Merriam-Webster) So what does that mean to a teacher? It means a lot. Teachers need to be careful as to what information they use on presentations, publication or even worksheets. How do you know it is copyright? Most things that have a copyright have a symbol attached to it, or it says Copyright.

Fair Use Fair use is almost a legal way to be able to use copyrighted content fairly. Using copyrighted items legally Fair Use Law asks what are you doing with the content you are trying to use or borrow. Fair Use Video- This YouTube Video clarifies what Fair use is and what questions you may have (First few minutes) and then Common Myths of fair use.Fair Use Video-
