Learning objectives Introduce the students to behavioral and experimental economics. –Selective, not complete. Introduce the students to the wonderful world of research. –Involvement, not passive.
Main features In class –Experiments (incentivised and non-incentivised). –Both of us present in all lectures (60/30). –We read papers at the research frontier (one paper in each lecture). Outside of class –They design, organize and run an experiment with 40 participants. –Extensive supervision. –Poster sessions – they are researchers! –Invited to be research assistants at The Choice Lab (and two of our present PhD students are recruited from this course).
