Background of the project:  No care facilities in the village; residents depend on facilities in Kollum and more specialized care facilities in Dokkum / homecare nurses visit patients at home  Ageing → ​​more and more people need care in the nearby future  Young people move away to larger cities for better employment and education opportunities
